A great Italian guitar virtuoso, Mauro Giuliani received an early international recognition as teacher, performer and composer. In 1806, Giuliani moved to Vienna and became a fashionable guitar teacher there. In 1819, already famous Giuliani went to Rome and then settled in his native Naples.
